Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”): OSHA is the federal agency charged with regulation and enforcement of health and safety legislation. Its website contains information about safety standards for various industries and what to do if you feel that your employer is violating these standards.   

 

Brazilian Immigrant Center (Centro do Imigrante Brasilero):  The Brazilian Immigrant Center is a community-based organization working to empower Brazilians in the greater Boston area around issues involving workplace rights, education and immigration.

 

Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (“MassCOSH”): MassCOSH brings together workers, unions, community groups, and health, safety and environmental activists to organize and advocate for safe, secure jobs and healthy communities throughout eastern and central Massachusetts.
